my art comes in life
happy 2012! just came back from death valley. i am very happy that many of my pictures came out good with my new vintage camera that wolf got for me on christmas.
death valley is my place. i could spend days there. most of my pics were taken in zabriskie point. cause it is my land! i love zabriskie.
since i have been drawing guys with chicken, monument valley with chicken, and more chicken, i was waiting for this moment when my drawing comes to alive.
wish you all a happy healthy life in 2012! wish a lot of happines will come to you<3<3<3

lenolium "buckwheat" carving
my fingers... all day carving for my new print. my hands are sore. its done. i cannot wait to print.
this is only 18 x 24. my other lenolium posters were like, 28 x 36 or something. and i finished carving in maybe 3 days. i dont even remember but how did i do that???
however the worst part was when "stairway for heaven" came out on the radio. it totally turned me off.

dont judge a book by its cover.
since i started investigating avant-garde and kitsch, i have been obsessed with those 2 ideas.
especially, i learned about kitsch so much. i organized it, and the image of my ultimate kitsch ended up being like this!

i have a pin-up girl as an advertisement,
i have kfc as mass production and consumption,
i used a technique of digital photo as homogeneous repetition,
i went to a photo studio so they can produce the art work for me,
and i have a cartoon chicken(fuckable) as a commercial mascot!
plus, you know the best thing about this work??
i went to a photo studio inside of a local MALL!
kitsch as is.
